Bonjour tout le monde!!

Today was back to regular life. We haven't been to school since Wednesday of last week, so it was both good and bad to go back today. Classes were 3.5 hours each today, which is a long time to pay attention.

In the morning we had Innovation and Management. Today was brainstormed some ideas, categorized them, and then related them to a business module. It was interesting, but we got distracted a lot.

For lunch we went to "the grill" which is another "restaurant" on campus. I got some bread and cheese, some hash browns, and some chicken nuggets. One of my favorite dining hall meals yet to be honest. After lunch, we went to the campus store, which is in the same building as the grill. I got a sweatshirt and t-shirt that say INSA Lyon.

Our afternoon class was our French Culture class. Today we worked on presentations about other countries in the world and specific parts of their cultures. My group did Morocco, which was interesting to learn about because I don't know much about it. We finished our presentation early, so we presented at the end of class. I think it went really well.

After class, Andrea, Talia, and I went to the market and got some food and son aloe. The sunburns are very noticeable today. We found some cheese and bread, so naturally we had to get that.

I was reminded that today is Memorial Day, and all my friends in the states are having cookouts and boat days. It's funny to not be apart of a home holiday.

We came back to Andrea and Is apartment and ate the cheese and bread and relaxed for awhile. Around 9, we went up to the boys room. We decided to go to the campus bar for a little bit. We played some card games and enjoyed the atmosphere. Around midnight, we decided to go to McDonald's for a snack. Unfortunately, we ended up missing the last tram back to campus. Talia took an uber back to her host family, and the rest of us walked back to campus. It was only like a 30 minute walk, so it wasn't too bad. We listened to music and danced in the streets to pass the time.

Overall, another great day in Lyon.

À plus tard,

Maggie
