The Mall!

Bonjour tout le monde! Another late night, means another day-late post.

Today was supposed to start with class at 8 am, but upon arrival we found out that the building class was in was closed until 9. Talia, Andrea, and I went back to my apartment and took a nap until class resumed at 9. Today we have Management and Innovation in the morning and afternoon, so we had a lot of time together. The morning session was about team building and communication. Our class was in the library, which has a really cool coffee vending machine. It was 0.70 euros for a coffee, and it tasted fine enough.

For lunch, our entire class went to the pizza "restaurant" on campus. It's technically another dining hall, but better. We ate pizza and talked for awhile.

Our second half of the day was led by a different person. This person is a buisness owner in Lyon, and we talked about CSR, which are basically the responsibilities of a company. It was interesting to see what actually goes into running a successful business.

After class, Talia, Andrea, Brett, Sam, and I went to the mall. This mall is crazy, like 5 stories high and a massive footprint. We went with about an hour and a half until closing, so we didn't see much. But what we did see was fantastic! Andrea and I found a decently priced jewelry store. She got a pretty watch and I got a pair of earrings. The top level is a food court, and we ate there for dinner. I got tacos, and they were alright.

After dinner, Parker and Will met us at the mall and we made our way to the same area of Lyon we have been frequenting lately. It's nice to go to different areas, but sometimes it's also nice to really know a place. We found seats at our favorite bar, Boston, and played some drinking games. I intended today to be an easy day, but plans kept coming.
